**Diesel Mechanic - Field Service**
**Laverton - $5,000 sign on Bonus**

We are looking for a talented **Field Service** technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance for our **Laverton** branch. You will work with our customers across automotive, mining and power generation.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Deliver a first-class service to our customers
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
- Attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
- Diagnose and repair engines
- Inspect and replace components as required
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
- Complete required documentation
**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
- Experience with heavy diesel products and in field service/workshop environments
- Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities
- Valid Australian Driver's license required
**Compensation and Benefits**
- Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
- Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday - Friday 38-hour work week
- $5,000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)
