The Executive Assistant ('EA') is accountable to the Assistant Commissioner for the provision of high level, confidential secretarial, administrative and research support services thereby contributing to the achievement of Service objectives.
The EA will be required to strategically manage the plans, schedules and information flow for the Assistant Commissioner based on their goals and priorities.
This position will frequently liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including those who may have sensitive and confidential requirements, necessitating a high level of integrity and professionalism. Additionally, the position will require the collation of data and insights to provide sound recommendations and undertake project work.
The incumbent must have a high level of stakeholder engagement and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Has a high regard of, business acumen, highly organised with a strong focus on attention to detail, ensuring that information is accurate, timely and appropriate approval processes are followed.
We are looking for someone who has excellent verbal, written communication and research skills, with the ability to prepare correspondence on behalf of Senior Officers and the Assistant Commissioner, with strong attention to detail, ensuring that information is accurate, timely and appropriate approval processes are followed.
The EA position will provide a significant contribution to the productivity and outcomes aligned to Crime Service.
Crime Service has a Statewide responsibility for the provision of high-level criminal investigations and support. It deals with complex and long-term issues that require accurate analysis, comprehension and documenting. The service also provides advice in relation to internal policy matters and legislative reform across the criminal law and is responsible for the preparation of high-level proposals and briefing papers for the Commissioner's consideration. The incumbent will be responsible for drafting responses and working in collaboration with Branch heads to finalise papers.

- Major Crime Investigation Branch
- Serious and Organised Crime Branch
- Public Protection Branch
- Financial and Cybercrime Branch
- Investigation Support Branch
- Successful Probity check and National Police Clearance and Criminal Association Checks
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and Driver's License
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intrastate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
**Salary**
ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 per annum.
