Business Support Officer

* This role is responsible for providing data entry and administrative support to the Service Maintenance Team in a large QLD State Government Department.
* The successful candidate will have strong high volume data entry experience, be customer focused, and possess intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with recurring tasks, and demonstrate investigative skills in being able to research, identify and problem solve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. High volume data entry
2. Provide a high level of customer service to the department's customers, with inbound and outbound phone calls
3. Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems
4. Phone and email correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
5. Inbox management - responding to clients and business partners regarding their requests and enquiries
6. Provide general administration functions as required such as travel

Requirements:

* Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel
* Experience within the construction, engineering or government sector is highly desirable
* High attention to detail & strong time management skills
* Investigative skills in being able to research, identify and problem solve
