About The Role
Working in a friendly and collaborative team you will partner closely with a well-respected Head of Legal on both project and BAU activities. Some of your daily work will include:
1. Legal Advice & Compliance: Offer expert legal guidance on regulatory, operational, and governance matters.
2. Contracts & Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, ensuring legal risks are managed.
3. Property & Leasing: Support redevelopment projects and property management.
4. Disputes & Litigation: Manage legal disputes to achieve efficient outcomes.
5. Regulatory & Government Affairs: Ensure compliance and contribute to regulatory submissions.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, senior management, and external legal providers.
7. Continuous Improvement: Develop legal precedents, training, and process enhancements.
About You
You will be seeking a contract role where you are part of a team environment working among top quality legal professionals. Some of the attributes you have that will assist you in this role are:

You will also have:
1. Tertiary qualifications in law
2. Admission as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory
3. Current practicing certificate
4. 8-10 years experience
