Key Responsibilities
The main duties of a cook in this setting include:
* Providing freshly prepared meals to vulnerable elderly residents.
* Supporting residents in maintaining their health and wellbeing through adherence to our menu guidelines.
Requirements for this position include knowledge of nutritional guidelines, ability to prepare meals in line with planned menus, completion of relevant certifications (HLTFSE001 or equivalent), effective interpersonal communication, working knowledge of workplace health and safety, infection control procedures, and ability to operate standard domestic and industrial kitchen equipment.
Candidates should also have a Certificate Level III in Food Studies or an equivalent qualification.
