Accident & Health Underwriter Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Accident and Health Underwriter, where you will play a key role in meeting production targets by underwriting new business, renewals, and endorsement changes. Your exceptional customer service skills will be utilised to maintain relationships with producers while sourcing and growing new broker relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and accept or decline new business and renewal requests based on guidelines to ensure profitability and growth of the portfolio.
* Achieve retention targets for renewals on a premium and policy count basis.
* Prepare referrals to senior underwriters providing risk analysis, rating, and recommendations.
Requirements:
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Solid understanding of the Accident and Health product suite.
* Strong negotiation and marketing skills.
