Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain activities and synchronizing demand and supply around Colgate's Home Care portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Balancing Demand and Supply: Execute daily/weekly/monthly planning cycle priorities to ensure product availability at distribution centers, right-sized inventory levels, and synchronization of new product introduction and sourcing transitions.
• Optimizing Service vs Cost: Maximize customer service while minimizing costs.
• Supply Resolution: Utilize system alerts to identify and resolve supply shortages/overstocks.
• Data Analytics: Use supply chain data and tools to drive information-based decisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives: Develop and implement best practices related to finished goods replenishment, inventory management, and system utilization.
• Collaboration: Identify and close gaps with Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Service to achieve efficient, cost-effective supply planning in meeting service and cost goals/KPIs and improving supplier responsiveness.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience of Supply/Demand Planning in Consumer Goods or manufacturing (FMCG preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with SAP/APO/PPDS/IBP tools required.
