We are recruiting Product Designers for Business Banking – Connected Payments. In this role you will design seamless merchant onboarding and in‐life payment experiences that enable businesses to accept payments confidently, securely, and at scale, helping Australian businesses grow and thrive.
Responsibilities
* Design merchant onboarding and payment experiences that reduce friction, build confidence, and support business success.
* Lead end‐to‐end design across discovery, iteration, and delivery, grounded in evidence and customer insight.
* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and risk specialists to influence product direction and outcomes.
* Maintain a focus on accessibility, security, and regulatory compliance while innovating and experimenting.
* Advocate for customer needs while balancing business, risk, and compliance considerations.
Qualifications
* Strong product thinking, curiosity, and design craft.
* Experience leading design work in payments, e‐commerce, or related domains.
* Knowledge of accessibility standards, emerging payment models, and regulatory expectations.
* Ability to work autonomously, contribute at a senior level, and foster collaboration across teams.
* Excellent communication and partnership skills, with a track record of influencing product outcomes.
* Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and staying current with design practices.
* Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
