Key Details
* Rate: $65 - $73 per hour + super.
* Location: Docklands, hybrid
* Contract: 3 month contract
Key Responsibilities
* Campaign Delivery: Lead the end-to-end implementation of the launch, including managing printing distribution and logistics for field activities.
* Field Engagement: Conduct "boots on the ground" initiatives such as door-knocking and facilitating in-person community events.
* Strategic Comms: Manage key messages, media responses, and the development of comprehensive FAQs.
* Content Management: Oversee the production and translation of collateral (newsletters, social media, and digital content) to ensure accessibility for diverse communities.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Partner with local councils to manage the digital hub and maintain relationships with internal media and external communication teams.
Key Selection Criteria
* Engagement Expertise: Proven experience delivering innovative engagement strategies for complex or sensitive community issues.
* Technical Frameworks: Demonstrated experience working across the IAP2 spectrum.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and verbal skills, with experience in media relations and digital content creation.
* Project Management: High-level skills in setting priorities and meeting deadlines within a sensitive political environment.
* Education: A tertiary degree in Communications, Business, or a related field.
* Public sector experience preferable.
