Elders Insurance is one of Australia's largest regional and rural insurance services and operates an agency network distributing general insurance products to regional and rural clients. Maverick Enterprises (Aust)Pty Ltd T/a Elders Insurance Joondalup is the Elders Insurance agency in Joondalup where we currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Sales Support Officer. Part Time or Full Time Availability.
The role
We are looking for a new SALES SUPPORT OFFICER to add value to our already successful team. You will be fully trained and mentored in company practices. Duties will include:
* Office administration, telephone enquiries and credit control.
* Opportunities exist to be trained in other areas of the business including claims and sales.
You
To be successful in this role you must be able to:
* Display a knowledge of general insurance (preferred but not required).
* Display a high level of computer literacy and accuracy with data input.
* Demonstrate basic office skills including proficiency in standard computer applications and data entry systems.
* Have good communication skill and organisational skills.
* Obtain satisfactory police and ASIC clearances.
* Obtain or have already Tier 1 or Tier 2 accreditation in Australian Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA) Insurance.
* Complete FSRA Tier 1 or Tier 2 accreditation within 90 days of commencement if not already obtained.
* Possess Australian work authorisation as sponsorship is not available for this position.
