About The Role:
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead financial planning and analysis for Whyalla Operations, acting as a leadership business partner to support sustainable commercial outcomes.
This role operates within a capital-intensive, commodity-driven environment, requiring strong financial insight to support decision-making across mining, steel manufacturing and ports operations:

Key Responsibilities:
* Insightful and timely analysis and reporting of monthly and forecast financial results.
* Provide senior business leaders with decision making support.
* Manage the preparation of financial forecasts, consolidated budgets, and the 5-year business plan, ensuring timely input and explanations from both accounting and operational teams.
* Work with the business to ensure continual improvement to budgeting models and process.
* Establish and oversee commercial opportunities and risks reporting process as part of annual budgeting process.
* Mentor and develop FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making support
About You:
* Relevant tertiary qualification – commercial, finance, business management, etc.
* Proven experience in a similar role
* CPA/CIMA/CA or equivalent preferred.
* Experience with leading and driving multi discipline integrated planning processes
* Good understanding of key performance drivers in mining and steel production.
* Financial modelling and Business Case preparation.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
