Victim Response Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Victim Response Specialist to provide crucial support to victims, families, and witnesses in a challenging role.
* This position involves conducting thorough intake and assessment, as well as providing timely intervention and collaborative support to meet urgent client needs.
* The successful candidate will balance phone and face-to-face engagement to ensure effective crisis response and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Social Science is required, along with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Alternatively, extensive experience can be considered where formal qualifications are limited.
2. Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed practice, crisis response, case management, and/or mental health support is essential.
3. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, listening, and advocacy skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse socioeconomic and cultural groups.
