The role of a Youth Residential Care Worker is demanding yet deeply rewarding. It requires resilience, compassion, and commitment to the growth and well-being of young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, and abuse.
This position involves working varied shifts (7am-11pm and 11pm-7am) managing household duties, providing nutritious meals, and creating a safe home environment. A driver's license and minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification are required.
Our team collaborates closely to deliver therapeutic care, implementing best practice interventions and program guidelines. We support young people in educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering their independence.
