We are a leading global supplier of technology and services, investing billions in research and development. Our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department develops Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways, and Vehicle Security Products.

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd seeks a highly motivated Undergraduate Intellectual Property Management Engineer to join our Cross-Domain Solutions Department on a Full-Time basis for 12 months commencing July 2025 at our Clayton headquarters.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our team. Your tasks will include:

* Supporting intellectual property activities and investigations for new products, components, or systems.
* Developing intellectual property lifecycle processes, process review, rollout, and training.
* Managing the patent portfolio and release process, including payments and invoicing.
* Supporting engineers throughout the patent release process.
* Ensuring all development activities comply with company procedures and international standards.

A strong support network will help you succeed: your supervisor and team members will be there to assist you.

To be considered for our Student Program, you must meet the following criteria:

* Be currently enrolled in an Engineering Undergraduate degree (majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics).
* Ability in requirements engineering and cascading requirements to other areas.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and understanding of methodologies.
* Ability to work with customers, eliciting requirements and developing concepts.
* Understanding of intellectual property and patent management.
* Good understanding of Product Life Cycle and defect management lifecycle.
* Experience with technical products.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and teamwork skills.
* A strong interest in innovation and openness to opportunities to combine studies with on-the-job learning.

An assessment centre will be held early June at our Clayton headquarters for shortlisted candidates.
