As a Field Service Technician at our Melbourne branch, you'll join a Managed Services team and have the opportunity to travel to client sites across the Victorian region. Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve faults for AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, control systems, and displays.
* Provide first‐line support for on‐site technicians by back‐filling when required.
* Conduct preventative maintenance calls to ensure optimal performance.
* Provide technical advice and recommend solutions for AV/UC related issues.
* Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for escalated issues.
* Configure AV and UC systems as required.
* Build positive client relationships through clear, professional communication.
* Produce accurate service reports and maintain positive ticket records of work completed.
Key Experience & Capabilities
* Proven experience in AV installation, support or maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of audio, video and control systems.
* Familiarity with major AV platforms and tools (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex).
* Strong knowledge of video conferencing systems and networking principles (LAN/WAN).
* Experience in fault finding, reading AV schematics and working with DSPs.
* Proficient PC skills including O365 and MS Teams.
* Current Construction White Card and valid Driver's Licence.
* Industry certifications and accreditations (preferred).
* Proactive, organised and reliable with excellent communication skills.
