Inventory Planning Manager
We are seeking an Inventory Planning Manager to oversee the development and implementation of inventory strategies that drive sales growth, reduce stockouts and minimize waste across our eyewear categories.
This role is responsible for analyzing sales trends, customer demand and product performance to forecast future needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work cross-functionally with operations, visual merchandising and product teams to develop effective inventory management plans.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, making recommendations on reorders, promotions and clearance strategies, and partnering with marketing and visual teams to support launches and in-store campaigns.
In this role, you will work autonomously but collaborate closely with global teams to create strategies that optimize service levels, drive inventory efficiency and reduce obsolescence.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Analyze sales, trends and customer demand to forecast product performance.
* Develop seasonal and annual inventory plans by category, brand and location.
* Work with global Head Office on the full product lifecycle from initial launch to replenishment, markdown and end-of-life decisions.
* Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations on reorders, promotions and clearance strategies.
* Partner with marketing and visual teams to support launches and in-store campaigns.
* Manage open-to-buy budgets ensuring alignment with sales and margin targets.
* Conduct regular performance reviews of core, seasonal and exclusive collections.
* Ensure optimal stock availability across stores and channels (retail and e-commerce).
* Provide actionable insights based on data analysis and market trends.
Your Experience:
* 3+ years of retail merchandise planning experience.
* Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and retail sales strategies.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools is a plus.
* Analytical, detail-oriented and highly organized.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
* Commercial awareness and passion for retail trends.
