The Roles
* International firm with Band 1 IP and Trade Marks team looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join them in Melbourne. You will have the chance to work on contentious and non-contentious matters, including patents, trade marks, copyright, designs, Australian Consumer Law, brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, confidential information and trade secrets enforcement, litigation, regulatory, IP licensing and transactional matters. Can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
* National Firm looking for an experienced Lawyer to join its Corporate team in Melbourne which includes IP. This role will suit lawyers with either pure IP experience or corporate and IP experience. This role is open to part-time applicants. The IP work will primarily relate to trademark registrations, objections and similar matters (as opposed to litigious matters).
* National Firm looking for an experienced lawyer to join its IP/IT team in either Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney. This role suits lawyers with experience in technology and/or media law and a strong background in litigation. Experience in defamation, privacy and consumer law issues, including regulated advertising will also be beneficial. In this position, you will work closely with experienced partners, focusing on providing advice and handling disputes and litigation on a range of technology and media matters, including online intermediary liability, jurisdiction, defamation, competition and consumer law, intellectual property infringement, advertising and elections
