Position Title: Reliability Engineer
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Roster: Monday – Friday

Our client is a leading gold mining operation based in Kalgoorlie, WA. With a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, they offer a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Position Overview:
The Reliability Engineer will support the performance and reliability of fixed and mobile plant assets across site. Working with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, the role focuses on reducing unplanned downtime, optimising asset strategies, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement reliability and maintenance strategies
* Conduct RCA, FMEA, and other reliability assessments
* Monitor asset health and analyse maintenance KPIs
* Optimise preventive maintenance tasks and schedules
* Support condition monitoring (e.g. vibration analysis, thermography)
* Use CMMS systems (SAP, Pronto) for planning and data analysis
* Assist with shutdown planning and execution
* Promote safety and ensure compliance with site procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
* Mining industry experience essential (gold or copper preferred)
* Strong knowledge of RCA, RCM, and FMEA techniques
* Experience with fixed plant and/or mobile fleet equipment
* Proficient in CMMS and data analysis
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
