International Animal Health is amanufacturer of animal health products located inWestern Sydney. This family owned company has been a leader in developing and manufacturing animal health products for over 30 years.
The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your focus will be to:
- Provide exceptional customer service to a portfolio of existing customers
- Seek out new customers
- Grow revenue on territory through introducing new products and solutions to your customers
This role demands that you have the passion and ability to work independently as a specialist and trusted advisor in this field, maintaining and building sustainable and profitable client relationships.
Importantly, you must have a sound knowledge of horses and cattle and a natural affinity for working with country-based clients and corporates together with a proven track record of selling within a rural industry. Networking and customer product training sessions will be a central part to your success.
Please note, due to the size of the rural sales territory this role does require that you travel extensively, usually staying away for 3 nights a week.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A track record of growing revenue from existing accounts
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years sales experience with a sound knowledge of horses and cattle
- Proven sales success against targets in a rural B2B workplace
- Strong consultative approach to sales
- Genuine commitment to providing a quality service
You will be:
- Highly motivated self-starter able to work autonomously
- Prepared to travel during the working week with overnight stays
- A sales professional who readily takes ownership of targets and delivers results
- Focused on developing strong relationships to grow existing accounts
- Committed to acquiring significant new business
