Assistant Manager, Airport Services (Based in Sydney, Australia)Evaluate station staff performanceEnsure flights are operated in safety mannersEnsure good customer service is carried out on daily basisKeep airport operation costs under budgetCoordinate with airport authorities, catering, and crew hotel for various issuesEnsure that decisions are made within established company standardsRegularly visit concerned airport departments or governmental departments to maintain good cooperation with themIn coordination with the Airport team, negotiate and administer all major Airport Authority, Air Traffic Control, CIQ, etc.Pre-arrange and assist for concerned departments from head office before & during their station audit tripEnsure GHA complies with company standards when performing their pre-flight editing / seat control and post-flight dutiesFocus on service delivery, anticipate competitor activities by service product trends and initiate service strategies in a timely manner to outmaneuver competitorsIn accordance with Company Service Delivery policy, ensure the airport team remains focused on the corporate sector generating premium revenueReport to headquarters about stations performance and be accountable for their staff's performanceRequirements:
Tertiary education or equivalent; a bachelor's degree holder will be an advantageMinimum 8 years airport services working experience with at least 2 years of managerial experienceFluency in English and local language (both written and oral) are requiredAbility to communicate in Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantageCustomer-focused with excellent customer service skills and a problem-solving attitudeProven supervisory and people management experienceAbility to work under pressure and in crisis, providing direction and front-line support to the airport teamProficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointWilling to take shift dutiesHong Kong Airlines is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
