The Role
This role is rostered across Sunday to Thursday with varying shift times. By applying, you're confirming your availability to work across these days. As an Assistant Store Manager, your mission is to lead with a customer-first mindset, deliver great in-store experiences, and inspire your team to achieve this every day. You will partner with the Store Manager to motivate your team to deliver excellence in every customer interaction, and coach them to cultivate high performance. You will assist in overseeing day-to-day store operations, manage the team to achieve financial budgets and targets, and ensure visual merchandising excellence. In the absence of the Store Manager, you are the first point of contact for your team to ensure customers receive high-standard service.
Responsibilities
* Lead with a customer-first mindset and coach the team to create exceptional in-store experiences that build loyalty.
* Drive store performance to meet financial budgets and targets by analysing data and reports to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in sales, inventory, and operations.
* Prioritise retail operations, time, tasks, and processes for the best return on investment.
* Create a positive and motivating store environment, nurture a strong culture, and enable the team to succeed through feedback, coaching, training, and recognition. Attract, recruit, and develop top talent for the store.
* Act as a key support to the Store Manager and ensure high standards of customer service in their absence.
