Offer description

Your next opportunity

With safety prioritised above all else at Boral, we look out for each other and are committed to zero harm across our vast, vertically-integrated national business. An opportunity exists for a proactive and passionate Health & Safety Business Partner to join our national Health and Safety team, supporting our WA Concrete and Quarries and Asphalt businesses.

Reporting to a Business Unit General Manager and Head of Safety, your primary focus is to support our two WA Concrete and Quarries and Asphalt businesses ensuring that business unit level issues are understood, controls are implemented and compliance and assurance measures reviewed. Working closely with the frontline, this is a key role in delivering strong alignment between operational risks and health and safety controls and will enable safety improvements and standardisation of processes across our network of concrete, quarries and asphalt plants in Metro and Regional WA.

Operating as a true business partner, you will relish the opportunity to travel to a range of concrete plants, quarries and asphalt sites on a regular basis to engage with leaders and employees on site and really understand their challenges, creating learning opportunities from issues and incidents to enable them to perform more effectively. A central part of this role is to build an intimate understanding of our operations and forge strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders so as to deliver positive safety outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Perth but candidates must have the flexibility to travel to various sites across Perth Metro and Regional WA from time to time. To support in this, you will be provided with a motor vehicle allowance. This is not a FIFO role and you will be able to return home each night.

Your day will involve:
