Gumnuts Early Learning Centre in Sale, VIC is seeking a passionate and dedicated OSHC Educator to join our team on a part-time basis to work at one or all of our services: Sale, Maffra, Heyfield.
As an Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for the children in our centre.
Our centre operates multiple locations, so this is an excellent opportunity for those seeking stable employment in the childcare sector.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and implement engaging educational programs that support the learning and development of children aged 5-12 years
- Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children in your care
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Observe and document children's progress and development
- Adhere to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
What we7re looking for
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working with children in an OSHC or early learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and the ability to engage children in play-based learning
- Willingness to work as part of a team-oriented team
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management certificates
- Working with Children Check or equivalent
