Team Leader or Nurse Unit Manager, HP5/ Nurse Grade 7, Integrated Care Rehabilitation Services, Bundaberg Hospital - H2605WB682646

Lead a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality rehabilitation and integrated care services across the Wide Bay region. This exciting leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager or Team Leader who is driven to improve patient outcomes, inspire teams, and shape innovative models of care.

* The Team Leader/NUM is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Integrated Care Rehabilitation Services. This role will lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of hospital avoidance strategies, chronic condition pathways and innovative hospital in the home initiatives which aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Integrated Care Rehabilitation Services clients by delivering the right care in the right place at the right time.

What we're looking for:

Clinical

* Demonstrated advanced leadership, management and organisational skills including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary leadership within the Integrated Care Rehabilitation Services Unit.
* Proven and demonstrated ability to facilitate, lead, direct, oversee and coordinate collaborative teams in the safe and reliable delivery of evidence and research informed patient centred care within the Integrated Care Rehabilitation Services Unit.

Education

* Demonstrated ongoing professional development of self and others and the facilitation of an environment that encourages life long learning, mentoring and support for colleagues.

Leadership

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and consistently under pressure in a rapidly changing work environment with effective change management and people management practices.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment with internal and external stakeholders while actively contributing to the clinical environment.

Support systems

* Promotion of quality and risk management processes, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, sound business planning skills and proficient use of financial and human resource information and reporting systems.
* Demonstrated ability to utilise data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.

Research

* Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality business processes and evidence-informed practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

* Mandatory possession of a nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practising certificate is essential.
* Psychologists: Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Psychologist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practising certificate is essential.
* Occupational Therapists: Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practising certificate is essential.
* Social Workers: Mandatory possession of a recognised degree in Social Work, and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Eligibility is dependent on the candidate having completed a University level Social Work degree accredited by the AASW and that the candidate does not have any other outstanding professional competency or ethical issues or complaints known to the AASW which may preclude membership.
* Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a "certification of eligibility" letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership. Overseas qualified applicants should include such evidence with their application to be considered for short-listing in the selection process.
* Post graduate experience and/or qualifications in the health services leadership is highly desirable.
* Post graduate tertiary qualification relevant to position is highly desirable.
* This position requires the incumbent to work at other facilities within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Our offer

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $173,368 p.a., comprising salary between $139,951 - $151,949 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7) or $144,991 - $151,289 p.a. (HP5), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7/HP5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
