About the role:
We're currently working with a pre-eminent law firm to secure an experienced Corporate / M&A Lawyer on a contracting basis.
Commencing as soon as possible, this opportunity is expected to run for up to 3 months, with the potential for extension. This opportunity is available on either a full‑time or part‑time basis.
Working alongside a collaborative and high‑performing team, you'll advise on a diverse range of corporate/M&A, private equity, FIRB, and commercial matters. With a growing pipeline of complex work, you will play a key role in driving matters to completion.
Some of your primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Share/asset acquisitions and JV agreements
* Cross-border M&A
* Corporate governance, ASX/ASIC compliance and related Corps Act advice
* Related Party Transactions
* Private Equity

Who we're looking for:
We would like to hear from lawyers with 3-15+ years' PAE gained in leading firms, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. Experience in private equity will be highly regarded.
