ABS Facade Pty Ltd Position: ICT Business Analyst Location: Queanbeyan NSW Employment Type: Full-time Annual Salary offer: 75,000 - 100,000 + superannuation, depending on experience ABS Facade Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled ICT Business Analyst to support the ongoing improvement of our digital systems and business processes. This role focuses on analysing operational requirements and translating them into functional system solutions that enhance efficiency, reporting capability, and decision making across the organisation. Task & responsibilities Engage with internal stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements related to operational systems, workflows and reporting processes.
Analyse existing business processes, procedures and work practices to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for system optimisation. Evaluate operational inefficiencies and recommend improved business practices, system functionality and technology solutions to support business objectives. Develop functional specifications and system requirements for implementation by software developers and IT service providers.
Use data analysis and process modelling techniques to map workflows and produce clear system specifications for system design and development. Support the planning and implementation of system improvement projects, including the preparation of project documentation, timelines and resource requirements. Participate in the testing and deployment of new or improved system solutions, including preparing system test plans to ensure quality, reliability and operational integrity.
Prepare user documentation, system guides and training materials to support the effective use of implemented systems. Deliver user training and provide ongoing support to staff to ensure systems are used effectively and consistently across the business. Act as a central point of reference for system related matters, providing guidance to stakeholders during system planning, development and implementation stages.
Liaise with system developers and IT providers to implement improvements to internal systems and digital platforms. Qualification & experience A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or if lacking qualification, evidence of at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience related to the nominated occupation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience documenting business and functional requirements and preparing system specifications. Ability to work with cross functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience supporting the implementation and testing of business systems and software solutions.
