Based in the northern suburbs of Perth, our client is a highly regarded manufacturer of mining and agricultural equipment. Due to sustained business growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their growing team.

The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the improvement of logistics functions to support daily operations. Main duties include but are not limited to:
* Drive improvements across logistics systems, processes, and technology to enhance efficiency for the company by acting as the main point of contact for logistics matters including all transport providers and 3PL partners
* Oversee company owned truck schedules, inventory accuracy, consignment stock systems and transfers between company branches
* Provide guidance and support to the Logistics Administrator, who will assist in overseeing truck schedules for pickups/deliveries, licencing and fatigue management regulations, and other ad-hoc for company record keeping
* Provide guidance in the way of supervision, training and skill development of company team members
* Assist with delegating and coordinating daily tasks to ensure the company is receiving product and dispatching client orders efficiently within warehouse structure
* Occasional travel to other branches as needed (very minimal)
* Other duties as specified and required by the General Manager
To be successful, you will need the following:
* Minimum 4 years proven experience within a similar logistics management role (within a similar manufacturing environment is highly advantageous)
* Experience handling logistics functions that involve remote branch locations and deliveries (essential)
* Good computer literacy and competency with ERP systems
* A current driver's license and reliable transport
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including regular drug & alcohol screens
* Full working rights
