Account Manager Role
We are seeking an Account Manager to develop your territory and look after a broad customer base in the Gladstone region, QLD.
* Responsible for sales revenue and margin targets within allocated territory/sector.
* Responsible for the growth of existing accounts (GAP Selling).
* Act as a trusted advisor to your allocated customers by ensuring we meet our agreed service expectations and manage any disputes/queries in a timely manner.
* Develop and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
* Provide sales forecasts based on knowledge of territory and market conditions (including product specific uplift via market intelligence).
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of account management, ideally within industrial sales, and organisational and communication skills to interact effectively with all areas of the business, build rapport, and deliver great outcomes.
This role requires you to be a self-starter with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, enjoying visiting customers.
