Senior Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead the pre-construction and construction phases of multiple road infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level engineering advice and input into planning and design suitability and options, the use of materials, resources, components or systems within the project, and construction practices and problems.
* Manage, assist, deliver and co-ordinate the delivery of Pre-construction activities to the region on time and to budget, which includes managing preliminary investigations such as survey and geotechnical, all land resumption requirements, all design tender actions and manage preliminary design through to detail design and the tender process.
* Manage the calling and assessment of tenders and the contract awarding process for construction projects in the Region's Roads Implementation Program.
* Manage the operational aspects of project delivery to ensure the effective and efficient use of systems and processes involved with all phases of the project management model.
Requirements:
* Strong technical expertise in civil engineering with experience in project management and coordination.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
