Your new role
As a Kubernetes System Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, performance, and security of the containerisation platform. You'll manage Kubernetes clusters, implement automation using tools like Ansible, and collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (installation, configuration, upgrades)
* Monitoring cluster health and performance
* Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms
* Ensuring compliance with IT security standards (ISM, ACSC Essential 8)
* Supporting system accreditation and security controls
* Producing and maintaining technical documentation
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* An active TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) security clearance
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator
* Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
* Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible
* Proficiency in Git for version control
* Desirable: Kubernetes and Rancher experience
Relevant SFIA skills: ITOP, APSUP, SYSP, CFMG
