We're on the lookout for a self-motivated Nurse to join our growing team at Gisborne Medical Clinic. We require an extra set of skilled hands (and a big heart) to support our wonderful patients and clinicians located in the Gisborne area.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position where you'll report to our Practice Principal and Practice Manager. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the very best care, while working alongside a collaborative and caring team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver exceptional support to our doctors and patients
· Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in every interaction
· Maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment
· Prepare Care Plans & Health Assessments that truly make a difference
· Assist in developing programs to enhance patient care outcomes
· Administer immunisations (adults & children)
· Wound care and management
· Infection Control & Cold Chain management
· Assist with minor procedures & iron infusions
What We're Looking For (Essential):
· Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration
· Previous experience in a General Practice Nurse role (preferred)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· A commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
· Solid computer skills & tech-savviness
· Great time management and multitasking abilities
· A team player who can also work independently
· Must be an Australian Resident for work purposes
Bonus Points (Desirable but not essential):
· Experience with Best Practice software
· Current CPR Certificate
· Cold Chain Management Certificate
· Current Police Check
· Working with Children Check
