Remuneration Range: $72,285.58 - $73,940.16 + 12% Super + Salary Packaging not included.
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: John Hunter Hospital | On Site | Awabakal Land


About the Role

This is the heart of our department—a place where you'll join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team that values every voice and works together toward shared success.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Pharmacy, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and preparing reports, briefs, and other documentation.

* Manage the administrative functions of the Pharmacy Department, supervising junior staff and ensuring efficient office systems, procedures, and document management.
* Coordinate tasks such as equipment registers, staff recruitment, onboarding, WHS activities, rosters, leave, and payroll.


Key Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive candidate who brings both professionalism and autonomy to the role. You will be someone who thrives in an administrative position, capable of delivering your own workload and guiding junior staff.

* Experienced in delivering high-quality administration services, ideally in health or a similarly complex environment.
* Skilled in IT systems, with exposure to Sara, Health Roster, Oracle, payroll functions, and executive support highly regarded.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
* Effective communicator who can build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
