Role: KCC - SCH - Senior Genetic Counsellor at NSW Health (Randwick). This is a temporary full-time position up to 30 June 2026. Hours per week: 38. Position Classification: Genetics Counsellor Lvl 4. Remuneration: 121658 - 124607 full-time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging). Responsibilities
The Kids Cancer Centre (KCC) is a large multi-disciplinary department within SCH with internationally respected programs in translational medicine, clinical trials, bone marrow transplantation and neuro-oncology care. The Senior Genetic Counsellor will work within the KCC, Sydney Children\u2019s Hospital Randwick to provide genetic counselling and education of clients, triaging of referrals, organisation of clinics, identify areas of improvement for the service, education of health professionals and the community, promotion of the KCC, and standardising cancer genetics material for the network and NSW cancer genetics. The remit extends to nationwide through the research projects of the Zero Childhood Cancer Program.
* Provide genetic counselling and education of clients

Qualifications

* Overseas qualifications must be assessed by the Department of Education or relevant authority appointed by the Australian Government for skilled migration purposes.
* All workers must meet NSW Health vaccination and screening requirements before starting employment (PD2024_15).
