Occupational Therapist Position
This role provides comprehensive and appropriate Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention as an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to support the health, wellbeing, and independence of patients/clients.
* About the Role:
* Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients/clients with varying levels of complexity and acuity.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and promote patient-centred approaches.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in transitional aged care.
