What you'll do
As a Senior Lecturer (Nursing), you will make significant contributions to high?quality teaching, research, and service within the School. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high?quality, student?centred teaching across UniSQ's undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs
* Contributing to curriculum development, program coordination, course leadership, and creation of high?quality learning materials
* Securing external research funding and engaging in research projects that deliver meaningful social, economic, and health outcomes
* Providing academic leadership across the School, including mentoring colleagues and contributing to a positive, collaborative academic culture
What will help you succeed
* It is essential you hold a doctoral qualification in nursing
* Registered Nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Recognised significant teaching and research expertise in nursing, with a record of demonstrable scholarly and professional achievement
* Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students, including evidence of high-quality tertiary teaching experience, leadership and productivity, including course and program coordination
* Demonstrated experience in engaging in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract funding to support research, advances knowledge, and engages with industry. A research track record, including high-quality publications, external funding or other relevant applied research outcomes is required
* High level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, relating well to people at all levels using diplomacy, tact and sound judgement, with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships
