Remuneration

Remuneration: $161,241 to $168,919 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $136,251 to $142,738 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)


Location

About the Role

We are seeking a Property Manager to join Campus Services, Administrative Division. The Property Manager oversees the daily operations, marketing, operational lease management/compliance, finances/budgets associated with the University's on‑campus (retail and commercial tenants) and off‑campus property portfolio. This includes oversight of distributed sites where detailed site inspections through to reporting are required to ensure lease compliance, safety, and Landlord and University user/occupant needs are met. The position is the key driver for retailer operational improvement, presentation, turnover growth, and lease operational compliance. Additionally, the Property Manager provides expert property advice, support, service, research and reporting on a wide range of property matters across various asset classes with a focus on delivering operational efficiency, value, and quality service in a timely manner, and where directed undertakes new and renewing lease negotiations.


What You Need To Succeed

* Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a postgraduate qualification combined with extensive relevant management experience in retail and commercial property management and services, including leasing, operations, finance & budgeting and marketing.
* Proven real‑world success in practical applications of lease and property management and administration that has led to delivery of high‑impact and high‑value outcomes.
* Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills including strong verbal and written skills ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of business cases, recommendations and advice.
* Demonstrated ability and experience to productively manage workload task completion, decision‑making ability and outcomes‑focussed deliverables that anticipate and meet and/or exceed client expectations.
* Proven experience in fostering productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven experience in contributing to and maintaining a coherent team culture focused on continuous development and achieving team and organisational goals.
