**What's the role?**
Reporting to the Editor and Digital Director, you will:
- Be responsible for creating engaging, creative and informative editorial travel and lifestyle content across the _delicious_. brand.
- Ensure _delicious._ is front and centre in domestic and international content creation across all facets of premium travel.
- Ensure our content captures the passion of our audience and our content speaks to them and suits the platforms they are using. You'll effortlessly strike the balance between being factual and fun to inform and entertain our booming audience.
- Tell us about emerging trends and developing travel news before it becomes mainstream all the while utilising your network of the country's best travel journalists, photographers and videographers and also your own original concepts.
- Introduce new and innovative ways to increase our travel audience footprint, through continually exploring new customer trends in social communication and interaction.
- Represent the brand at industry and consumer events, and cultivate business relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
**Who you are?**
- Ideally have three to five years of industry experience in a similar travel editor role with digital content creation a must-have.
- Travel in every form is your passion. Writing and rapid content creation is your other
- passion, which makes you the go-to person for travel content.
- You are data-led and know how to implement strategies based on data.
- You stay on top of the latest platforms, tools and social technology developments that enable us to engage readers and achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in WordPress is a must, while proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop skills) is an advantage.
- When it comes to making travel content, you know when to have a light touch and when to be serious.
- You are a strong communicator and are able to work with multiple stakeholders across marketing, editorial and network teams.
- Take initiative to work on a range of projects, manage strict deadlines and be able to work independently.
