Montefiore is recruiting two Payroll officers to complement our friendly Payroll team of three. We are seeking applications from experienced payroll professionals who are either seeking a permanent, full time opportunity or a 4-6 fixed term contract.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for normal payroll functions for approximately 1200+ of our employees and will be based at our Hunters Hill campus.

We look forward to receiving your application if you have proven experience in the aged care sector or similar industry with 24-hour shift rostering.

This opportunity involves (but is not limited to):

* Fortnightly payroll processing and out of cycle adjustments if required, tracking leave, salary packaging, reporting and payroll filing
* Liaising with all internal and external parties relating to Payroll as required ensuring compliance and service delivery
* Timely and accurate resolution of payroll related queries

Your story so far:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar end to end role within payroll
* Working knowledge of Fair Work Act provisions including NES, Award/Enterprise agreement interpretation, Fringe Benefits with not-for-profit salary packaging, PAYG and other payroll rated tax matters including Single Touch Payroll (STP), Superannuation Guarantee and other superannuation contributions requirements and workers compensation related tasks
* High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Experience with Chris21 and HumanForce is highly desired
