Our client is one of Australia's largest and most active property developers with a large construction arm. They have a reputation for designing and developing market leading and residential and mixed-use projects. With a strong forward pipeline and multiple sites live across the city, they're expanding their delivery team and looking for a Site Engineer who wants to be right in the middle of the action.
This is a genuinely hands-on site role where you'll work closely with an experienced Project Manager and project team, gaining exposure to complex builds, quality-driven delivery, and best-practice construction systems. You'll be trusted with responsibility from day one and play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.

The responsibilities:
In the role of Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Verifying construction works against approved plans, drawings and specifications
* Managing ITPs and sign-offs throughout the construction lifecycle
* Reading and interpreting the full suite of design and construction documentation
* Liaising closely with the Project Manager on construction programming and sequencing
* Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries and project reports
* Supervising and mentoring trainees, junior engineers and site administrators
* Supporting the resolution of technical issues with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities
* Ensuring compliance with the Design and Building Practitioners Act & Regulations
* Applying the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards
* Maintaining and administering site QA/QC systems in line with approved methodologies
* Checking materials and works in progress for quality and compliance
* Ensuring all works comply with the Construction Management Plan, WHS requirements and site procedures
The Person:
In the role of Site Engineer, you will have:
* Previous experience in a Site Engineer role on residential or mixed-use projects
* Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs and site documentation
* Solid knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and NSW construction regulations
* Confident communicator who works well with site teams and stakeholders
* Detail-focused, organised, and proactive on site
* Competent technical skills with the ability to problem solve, demonstrate initiative and collaborate
* A strong commitment to advocating and promoting health and safety standards
