Retirement Living Coordinator Permanent Part-Time (hours to be negotiated) The Manor Complex, Kings Meadows Who we are OneCare is a not-for-profit aged care organization, founded on the principles of compassion, respect and dignity for the individual. We take a holistic approach to the provision of our services, treating each resident and consumer as a ‘whole person’ with regard to the design and delivery of their individual care and well-being. We have a rich history and have been providing residential aged care for more than 40 years. What do we need The Retirement living Coordinator supports the effective day-to-day operations of the retirement village, ensuring residents experience a safe, welcoming, well-maintained, and socially connected living environment. The role provides frontline customer service to residents, coordinates village activities, manages administrative tasks, supports residents and family’s and assist in providing services to residents. Responsible for the ongoing sales and marketing of Independent Living Units (ILU) vacancies to maintain a low vacancy rate for the village and supports compliance with organisational policies and relevant Tasmanian retirement living legislation. The Retirement Living Coordinator is expected to perform this service delivery with a degree of autonomy and in a manner which embodies customer service excellence behaviours. Reporting to the Manager - Retirement Living, your responsibilities will include: Managing enquiries, conducting village tours, and supporting ILU sales and occupancy Maintaining waiting lists, databases, and sales reporting Assisting with marketing activities and promotional campaigns Coordinating resident move-ins, inductions, and documentation Supporting residents with enquiries, services, and transitions to higher care if required Assisting with ILU refurbishments, maintenance coordination, and safety initiatives Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Building relationships with internal teams, community groups, and referral partners Skills and experience required: Experience in retirement living, aged care, property, or customer service Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with older people Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities Confident in handling administrative processes and stakeholder engagement A proactive, solution-focused approach Understanding of the requirements of Retirement Villages Act 2004 (Desirable) Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 2012 (Desirable) Aged Care financial aspect of entering Aged Care and Home Care Service (Desirable) Experience in a Not for Profit and/ or health environment (Desirable) Experience in Real Estate and /or property management and sales marketing (Desirable) Current valid and unrestricted Tasmanian Drivers Licence What you get in return: Generous salary package Attractive not-for profit salary packaging up to $18,550 per FBT year Ongoing professional development opportunities Rewarding role working for a highly respected Tasmanian not-for-profit organisation which is a leader in the aged care sector Support of a cohesive professional network of OneCare staff Access to Employee Assistance Program for you and your family, discounted private health, plus ongoing health and wellbeing activities.
