We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly team as Events Executive. This is a full-time position based in Mascot, NSW.
Duties include but not limited to:
* Fully understand the business strategy and positioning of The Branksome Hotel brand and effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all service offerings, rates, competitor developments, and general industry trends.
* Participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows as required, including weekend shifts where necessary.
* Liaise and work closely with the operations team, including Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping, to ensure accurate and seamless event delivery.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining client databases for promotions and marketing campaigns.
* Prepare proposals for conference, catering, corporate, social, and residential conference events.
* Ensure all telephone, in-person, and written enquiries are handled promptly and professionally in line with company standards.
* Thoroughly review all event-related documentation prior to issuing to clients.
* Print and action Activity/Traces reports daily to meet deadlines.
* Record all enquiries and lost/refused business to assess total demand.
* Ensure guest satisfaction at all times and provide personalised service, reporting any complaints, comments, and compliments.
* Attend major evening and weekend events as required.
* Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as reasonably requested.
* Be available to work weekends and public holidays in line with operational needs.

* Proven experience in events management ideally within a reputable hospitality industry
* Ability to adapt to growth and change within the business.
* Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Drive to achieve results.

* Excellent personal and professional presentation.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office
* Must be available to work on public holidays and weekends as required.
