Overview
Cakes West is seeking a motivated and reliable Qualified Pastry Chef. We are one of Perth's largest cake manufacturers, supplying the hospitality industry throughout WA for over 20 years from our facility in Bassendean.
Responsibilities
* Production of sweet and savoury pastries, shortbread, Danish pastries and croissants
* Baking of goods and operation of large commercial ovens
* Maintaining production of high quality products
Requirements
* Qualified Pastry Chef
* Experience in dough break, laminating and proofing
* Meticulous in following recipes, procedures and processes to ensure consistent quality products
* Strong understanding of HACCP / Food Safety Compliance
* Relevant industry experience in high-volume, fast-paced food production environment
* Available to work weekdays 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
* Must have Australian work rights (No Visa Sponsorship available)
