We have a great opportunity to work in a hands‐on role working with road maintenance crews in local councils in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. You will be an integral member of the team preforming essential road maintenance tasks.
Location: Western Suburbs VIC
Pay Rate: From $35 - $38 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 7:00am starts
Key Responsibilities
* Operating specialised plant and equipment used for line marking and bitumen sprays.
* General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, sweeping, and heavy lifting)
* Prep road surfaces for asphalt and sealing.
* Making sure all work is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.
* Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
* Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
* Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months relevant civil labouring or road maintenance experience
* Valid Driver License
* Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
* Ability to perform physically demanding manual work.
