NDIS Employment Team Leader

The role:
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Team Leader to join our growing NDIS employment provision in Adelaide. The successful candidate would initially carry direct caseload responsibilities which will reduce as referrals increase. Over time this role will gradually increase focus more on leadership and coordination of the caseloads, with a primary objective to manage and support our NDIS Employment Coaches and caseloads. Additionally, the Team Leader will collaborate closely with our Workforce Connect team to build referrals through stakeholders that converts participants to our services.
In this role you will deliver services on behalf of the Organisation's NDIS funded employment services:
• Finding and Keeping a Job item codes
• Capacity building supports that can lead to employment
• Employment related core supports
Through these services you will manage the day-to-day functions of the NDIS Employment Coaches who will support and mentor NDIS Participants to overcome their barriers and build capacity that assists them on their pathway to further education or employment.
The position requires a flexible, outcome focused individual who has a can-do attitude, is mature minded with a high level of interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Bachelor degree in relevant area is preferred but not essential or strong experience in employment services or similar (highly desirable)
* Knowledge and experience delivering person-centered supports
* Experience in promoting people with disabilities into employment.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Demonstrated experience in supervising a NDIS team (or equivalent) and delivery of NDIS Services.
* Experience in managing resources to achieve desired outcomes;
* Highly developed time management and organisational skills
* Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to provide outstanding customer service
* Demonstrated ability maintain professional boundaries when responding appropriately to Participant and family/carer expectations
* An impeccable reputation for honestly, trustworthiness, ethics and integrity
* Advanced Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet, and database systems
* The ability to understand and interpret organisational and contractual policies and guidelines
* Experience working in a fast paced, outcome focused environment
