We have a great opportunity for an experienced and committed Driver to join our growing Boral Asphalt team in Eagle Farm.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role will see you responsible for the delivery of bituminous products in a safe and efficient manner to sites across Queensland and Northern NSW.
Your day will involve:
- Operation of heavy vehicle combination
- Safe and efficient cartage and delivery of bituminous products
- Promote a positive public image of Boral and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining a company truck and reporting faults to management
- Comply with Boral OH&S; policy and ensure our Safety and Environmental standards are met
What we are looking for:
- A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
- HC or MC drivers' license
- Dangerous Goods license (desirable, not essential)
- Experience in tanker operation and the handling of bituminous products (desirable)
- A solid understanding of basic fatigue management an advantage (desirable)
- Team player with the ability to work well independently
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements
