We are seeking an experienced Roster Officer to join a busy State Government team based in a 24/7 operational environment. Brisbane | State Government $50.46 per hour Super 2-Month Contract with Possible Extension This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with roster coordination or HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting workforce operations. About the Role In this role, you will work closely with the HR team to coordinate staffing rosters, manage leave and timesheet processes, and provide general administrative support. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain staff rosters in line with operational requirements and award conditions Prepare, update and distribute rosters to employees Process roster changes, leave requests and staffing variations Validate timesheets and ensure accurate payroll information Monitor leave balances and assist with annual leave planning Respond to staff enquiries regarding rosters, leave and HR matters Maintain accurate records and confidential HR files Provide administrative support across HR and recruitment activities Produce roster cost information and assist management with workforce planning About You To be successful, you will bring: Previous experience in roster coordination, workforce planning or HR administration Experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based environment highly regarded Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities This role may occasionally require work outside normal business hours or travel to alternate locations.
