Biological Specimen Collector Role
We are seeking a dedicated biological specimen collector to join our dynamic team at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology in Toowoomba, QLD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting biological specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner. They will also ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols, provide exceptional patient care, maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
* Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
* Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
* Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and/or a Certificate III in Biological Specimen Collection. They must also have efficient time management and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role, and a First Aid Certificate.
