Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist
This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing systems and processes to provide a comprehensive occupational health service.
* Supervise staff to ensure quality care is provided.
* Develop standards of clinical practice and implement recommendations for improvement.
* Initiate quality improvement activities, including consultation services in occupational health, fitness for work, and pre-employment health assessments.
The Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist coordinates and manages service changes, projects, and initiatives to meet project goals and timelines. This role requires regional travel and involves providing health services to approximately half a million people across rural and remote Western Australia.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid working visa, be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia. You must also pass a criminal records screening, integrity checking, and a pre-employment health assessment.
Key skills and qualifications:
* Degree in nursing or related field.
* Postgraduate qualification in advanced practice or equivalent experience.
* Valid working visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency.
