**About the Division of Operations and Commercial**
The Division of Operations and Commercial plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic development, maintenance, and sustainability of the University's campuses. Working closely with all areas of the University community, the division ensures that our properties and infrastructure support world-class learning, teaching, and research. The division is also responsible for the sustainability agenda and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

**About the Opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented **Business and Transport Coordinator** to join the Campus Operations team. This role is instrumental in managing financial, administrative, and transport-related operations that contribute to a seamless campus experience.

The Business and Transport Coordinator is responsible for the key financial, administrative, and other business-related functions that enable the efficient and effective delivery of on-campus services comprising safety, security, transport, and parking systems. This includes supporting the confidential and routine management of contractual relationships with key service providers that enable operational staff to drive a positive on-campus experience.

The position is responsible for managing functions and activities that support efficient and effective travel to, within and from the University campuses. This includes accountability for the University's parking policy and management systems, the shuttle bus programme, and management/oversight of University fleet vehicles (dedicated, owned, and pool vehicles). Additionally, the role is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a range of strategies and plans to continually improve the student and staff experience when travelling to and from the University.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 17 May 2026. This position will be based at Western's Hawkesbury (Richmond) Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

**Who we're looking for**
- High-level computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database management.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and forecasting.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage workflows, exercise initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in transport planning or logistics, including project management and event coordination to enhance transport outcomes.
