Studio JLA is a leading architect and interior design firm operating since 2000 that specialises in creating beautiful residential homes that inspire living. We offer end to end architectural services. The JLA team is a collaboration of architects and designers with a passion for design.
We are seeking an all-rounder Senior Architect, with a focus on design and planning with experience in interior design for high end luxury dwellings.
The main focus for the role will be the design and planning across all projects, from concept design / DA documentation and detailed design development for construction.
The Role
As a Senior Architect, you will work across multiple projects at various stages from concept to completion, managing your own projects and preparing high-end documentation. You'll collaborate with our Studio Director and other architects to deliver outstanding results.
* Highly experienced in design and planning for residential dwellings
* Good experience in concept design, DA documentation and construction detailing
You bring
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-end residential architecture in Australia.
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
* 3D modelling in SketchUp
* Experience in DCP/LEP analysis for DA and LEC submissions
* Ability to manage your own projects and work independently
* Confidence in taking ownership and working with consultants and contractors.
